If the cause can be looked at in detail acne basically appears as a result of increased secretion of oil or oil and bacteria trapped in clogged skin pores which make the skin unhealthy and create blemishes, pimples or black spots on the skin. According to health experts prevention is better than cure therefore marinating a healthy diet and routine would make acne breakouts less likely. Cinnamon in particular provides a rich flow of nutrients and blood to the skin while also helping the skin to be dry. Cinnamon treatment is ideal for oily skin, itchiness and inflammation. Adding petroleum jelly with cinnamon can become a better remedy since it will reduce the stronger side effects of cinnamon on the skin. Several research states that cinnamon contains anti microbial ingredients which stabilizes the ph of the skin. This allows the spread of bacteria or infection to cease. Cinnamon is considered to be a very useful remedy against acne. With constant care and regular treatment acne breakouts can be avoided to a great extent. Organic treatments or natural remedies that use cinnamon should be applied at least on a weekly basis to get the best results.
One homemade remedy that is simple and effective includes mixing one tablespoon of honey with cinnamon powder. This can be made into a paste and applied directly onto the affected areas with a cotton swab. The treatment should be left for around 5 minutes and left to dry. The mixture should then be washed off with lukewarm water so that the skin pores are unclogged and the acne breakouts become less likely in the future. The treatment needs to be applied regularly for it to be effective.
In case of side effects the treatment should be stopped immediately. If the remedy does not work or if a person suffers from severe acne it is recommended that a dermatologist is consulted so that the right treatment for the acne can be prescribed.
