Some home based remedies that can help reduce scarring, inflammation include lemon and mint juice. Some herbs can also be applied such as turmeric and sandalwood that would improve the complexion as well as abate the acne condition. The degree of effectiveness varies based on type and severity of the acne, in addition such treatment has not been fully proven to completely cure acne. Acne treatment takes considerable amount of time and discipline therefore skin care on a regular basis added with natural remedies generally gets good results.
